Soooo, I've decided to run

I haven't always wanted to be a runner. Well, I have always wanted to be that woman in the skin tight pants and moisture wicking tank smoothed down without lumps or bumps, ponytail swinging behind me and chugging along without getting out of breath. I have always wanted to not be the last one to finish the mile in high school gym. I have always wanted to look good in Lycra. But let's face it, I don't like to sweat and I don't like my feet to hurt. I did a 5K weighing over 300lbs in the middle of July in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. (I am crazy.) That turned me off of running/movement so the weight climbed some
I became a treadmill junkie, had air conditioning, tv and a fan; plus I was in the same place that I started so it never really mattered how far I went. Surprisingly I lost weight, but then I fell back in love with buffalo chicken tenders with bleu cheese dressing. Those are the Devil's doing!
I discovered RunDisney and I wanted to be a part of it. I mean, who doesn't love Disney?? All the Disney haters sit down. I was trying to do theWine and Dine 1/2 Marathon, but it was sold out. :( Then we tried for the Tower of Terror 10 Miler but it too was sold out. Disney people are crazy, bout the Mouse and their fitness.  So it's the Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run  instead. My work husband is going to join me, we are trying to secure his real life wife a spot but the sucker is sold out too.
Since October I have lost about 100lbs and that makes moving a little easier. Who knows maybe one day I'll be that woman in the Lycra pants with the moisture wicking tank with the ponytail swinging...but I want a tutu (butt sweat is not cute.)
A cool Disney kind of tutu. One that will make me want to run faster. Like RaceJunkie's Alice Tutu, now that would be cool. Headband would definitely match this. She has some fun shirts to go with her tutus too. All in all one day I will be that runner, I may not be all smoothed over and graceful, I promise to be out of breath, but I will love it.
